We're celebrating 90 years of flying to Hong Kong

We're marking 90 years of service between the UK and Hong Kong, celebrating one of our longest-standing and most significant international routes.

The milestone highlights a remarkable journey that began in 1936, when a pioneering flight carried just one passenger alongside mail between the UK and Hong Kong. Over the past nine decades, the route has grown into a vital air bridge connecting Europe and Asia, serving millions of business and leisure travellers while playing an important role in international trade and tourism.

Today, we operate a daily Airbus A350 service on the route, offering our customers the latest Club Suite in Business Class. Designed with enhanced privacy, greater comfort and premium amenities.

The 90th anniversary not only celebrates the rich heritage but also reinforces our long-term commitment to connecting the UK with Hong Kong.
