British Airways digital baggage update

We have recently launched a new digital baggage application, available through our British Airways app.

Customers now receive a notification ten minutes after their arrival with their baggage status, informing them of any delays and next steps.

Upon receiving the notification, customers can start filling out the details we need from them, and they can leave the airport and get on with their day as soon as possible; eliminating unnecessary waiting at the carousel.

The feature is available for customers on outbound routes from London Heathrow to US stations and India, with plans to roll it out across the network over the next few months.
