We've answered some of the frequently asked questions we receive from Hub users to help you  with your booking process and make sure you have everything you need. 1. Can I make changes to my booking after my deposit has been paid?

Yes, depending on the type of change and certain timings, as below:


Group size adjustments or cancellations:

Between date of deposit and before 90 days prior to departure
you may reduce you group space without restriction or cancel entire booking without penalty.
From 90 days and before date of Full Commitment 20% cancellation is allowed free of charge. Any cancelation over 20% will equal to a loss of deposit.
Post date of Full Commitment you agree to pay the full net fare plus all applicable taxes and fees for each seat canceled. Group tickets non exchangeable, non refundable.

  • Flight/Date changes
    As long as the Group has at least one flight in common, date changes can be made. Bookings can be made into one-ways and flights can be added/removed all subject to availability
    and pricing.
  • Name corrections
    Once ticketed, you are entitled to one free name change per passenger. After this you will be charged $170 per name change.

Re-routing not permitted at any time.


2. Can I seat my group together when booking through the Hub?

Seats are assigned per PNR (airline reference) so please keep this in mind when requesting a quote for changes to individual passengers or small groups within your booking. Each reference will be given a block of seats seven days before departure. We do not know where the seats will be on the aircraft until seven days prior to departure.

If we have not received any seating requests at four days before departure passengers will be seated in alphabetical order.

Requests outside of the seating block cannot be made in advance but can be requested at the
airport upon check-in.


3. What baggage am I entitled to on a Group ticket?

British Airways offer a very generous baggage allowance.

World Traveller - one checked bag weighing up to 23kg, one cabin bag weighing up to 23kg plus a personal bag (handbag or laptop) onboard

World Traveller Plus - two checked items each weighing 23kg, one cabin bag weighing up to 23kg plus a personal bag (handbag or laptop) onboard

Club World - two checked bags, each weighing 32kg plus one cabin bag weighing up to 23kg and a personal bag (hand bag or laptop) onboard

First -  three checked bags, each weighing up to 32kg plus one cabin bag weighing up to 23kg and a personal bag (hand bag or laptop) onboard

Euro Traveller - one checked bag weighing up to 23kg, one cabin bag weighing up to 23kg and a personal bag (hand bag or laptop) onboard

Club Europe - two checked bags each weighing 32kg, one cabin bag up to 23kg plus one personal bag onboard


 4. What is a utlilization date?

Otherwise known as D90 (90 days prior to departure). Between the date of deposit and up to
90 days before departure, the agent may reduce Group space without restriction or cancel the entire
booking without penalty.

 

5. How many passengers are classed as a Group in each cabin?

World Traveller - 10 passengers
World Traveller Plus - 7 passengers
Club World - 7 passengers
First - 4 passengers
Euro Traveller - 10 passengers
Club Europe - 7 passengers

This may vary if travelling on a partner operated carrier.
